Welcome to the 2024 AYFL Fall Tackle Football!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.

What division is my child in?

Divisions are separated by current grade level:

  • A8-League (8th graders for the 2024-2025 academic year)
  • A7-League (7th graders for the 2024-2025 academic year)
  • B-League (5-6th graders for the 2024-2025 academic year)
  • C-League (3-4th graders for the 2024-2025 academic year)
  • D-League (K-2nd graders for the 2024-2025 academic year)

 

Players are welcome to play up into the next grade division, however players are never allowed to play in a lower grade division. Registering incorrectly for a lower division will result in your player being reassigned to their correct division.

I'm Interested in Coaching a Team

Thank you for your interest in coaching an AYFL team!

 

We are always recruiting for coaches who are dedicated to teaching and developing new football players. 

 

Please note: all head coaches get reimbursed for their child's registration fees at the end of the season when they return their coaches' equipment. Coaches also have autonomy over organizing their team's practice schedule and choosing their team's practice location.

 

We provide coaches with field equipment, practice space, game schedule, and players.

 

For the fall tackle season, teams are assigned via a draft after player are evaluated by coaches at a combine. All coaches are required to attend the combines to evaluate players.

Please note that these dates are subject to change. All changes will be communicated to parents/guardians via email. 

 

  • $50-off Early Bird Special (A, B, & C-League only!) Ends April 7th, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST
  • June 2024 - AYFL Combine #1 (A through C league only)  - TBD
  • Early July 2024 - AYFL Combine #2 (A through C league only) - TBD
  • Thursday, July 18th, 2024 - AYFL Combine #3 (A through C league only) - Time TBD
  • Sunday, July 21st, 2024 - AYFL Draft (Coaches Only) 
  • July 29-August 2nd, 2024 - Practices Begin During This Week
  • August 17th, 2024 - AYFL Jamboree/Picture Day
  • August 24th, 2024 - First Game
  • August 31st- September 2nd, 2024 - Labor Day Weekend (No practices/games)
  • November 2nd, 2024 - Playoffs Begin
  • November 9th, 2024 - Playoff  Semi-Finals
  • November 16th, 2024 - Championship Games

Things to Know before registering!

Please note, you will be asked the following upon registration:

  • Provide proof of your child's current grade for the 2024-2025 academic year 
    • This can be in the form of a picture/pdf of a school ID, report card, or screenshot of a student portal that has the child's name, the date, and the child's grade visible. 
  • Parent and athlete signature on USA Football HeadsUP Concussion waiver
  • Signature on Release for Emergency Care
  • Signature on Parent Code of Conduct

 

WHAT DOES REGISTRATION COSTS COVER?

  • Registration costs include:
    • Helmet/Shoulder pad rental
    • Game jersey
    • Game pants
    • Insurance, County fees, and Field use

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT

  • You will be able to choose whether you would like to volunteer with the AYFL in the fall or opt out.
  • Opting out of volunteering incurs an extra $100 opt out fee.
  • You can volunteer by doing any of the following:
    • Head Coach
    • Assistant Coach
    • Team Parent
    • Volunteer with the AYFL Board
    • Complete 10 DIBS tasks
    • Become a Sponsor (www.ayfl.org/sponsors)

REFUND POLICY:

 

We will refund the registration fee (minus a service charge that increases every month from when registration opens) for requests made by July 20th, 2024.  After that time, if a child decides not to participate or is unable to participate, no refund will be offered.  A refund service charge will be $20 until March 31st, $35 between April 1st to April 30th, $50 between May 1st and June 30th, and $60 until July 21st, 2024).  To request a refund please contact registration@ayfl.org
