Our Commitment to You

Our goal is to provide a cheer program for the youth of the Ashburn area.

The organization strives to instill in each participant the characteristics of hard work, dedication, teamwork, sportsmanship, physical fitness, and high moral character regardless of race, color, gender, or creed.

The organization will provide a structure of Safety, Knowledge, Organization, and Quality Leadership that will allow each participant to learn, understand, and demonstrate the fundamentals of youth cheer. Our coaches will foster a sense of pride, spirit, knowledge, and excitement that will be permanently embedded in each player's life on and off the sideline.

The organization will strive to build the foundation needed at the youth cheer level to allow each participant the ability to continue their cheerleading careers into Middle School, High School, and beyond. This can only be done through knowledge, dedication, and teamwork by this organization's board, participants, members, and entire community.

Practice and Game Expectations

Our season will begin in early March.

All practices will be held approximately 2 evenings a week at an Ashburn area school. There is a possible additional practice once a week. The additional practice time and day will be determined once squads are formed. Attending practice is crucial for success.

The goal of this program is to build a foundation with basic skills in cheer. Ashburn area high schools have graciously allowed us to use the their High School Fields for our games. This is a privilege, given the field's condition, bleachers, restrooms, lights, etc. In return, they ask that we keep the areas clean.

It is expected that parents will have their cheerleader to practice on time and will pick their cheerleader up from practice at the time provided by their coach, unless notification has been given in advance. Please be aware, repeated tardiness or missing of practices may impact your cheerleaders eligibility to cheer in games. Practices are mandatory in order to cheer in games unless canceled by weather or coach due to other reasons.

Cheerleaders should wear weather appropriate clothing and cheer shoes to practice. Clothing chosen should be easy to move in and hair should be up and out of face. No jewelry, eating, cell phones, toys or other distractions are permitted at practice. Please know we are all volunteers trying to make the program the best we can for all cheerleaders. We want to create a foundation. Communication is KEY.

Communication

League communication will be made through email.

Cheer will communicate via the Sports Engine app. Please download and log into it with your registration account after registration.

Once your cheerleader is assigned a squad you will get an invite to join. Only parents/legal guardians will be invited. Please also ensure your cell phone number is included as your primary number on your profile and have text messaging enabled to make sure you receive the most up to date information.
